Staging Your Home For Sale

Every seller wants to sell their home as quickly as possible and for the most return on their investment. First, you have to think of your property as a “house” not your home so a potential buyer can envision it as their home. Most home buyers can tell within the first 30 seconds of entering a property if they can see themselves living there.

You want to de-clutter, de-personalize and make sure your home sparkles inside and out. If a potential buyer can’t even get out of their agent’s car because of how the outside looks, you will never get them inside. The curb appeal of a home is equally as important as the inside. Put yourself in the buyers’ shoes; stand outside on the sidewalk, are you intrigued to go further and see the inside? Walk in your home and stand in the doorway of each room to view how it will look to a buyer. Does the room make a statement to you? Are you maximizing the space?
